

JAMES F. MARRON
Attorney
Mr. Marron is an experienced civil litigation attorney with more than 25 years of practice in business, real estate, construction, insurance coverage, and risk management law. He is of counsel to Lakey Villegas Law and Policy and principal member at Marron Law, LLC, practicing in both Oregon and Idaho.
Mr. Marron’s experience includes residential and commercial construction matters, contract drafting and negotiation, lien and bond claims, payment and defect disputes, real estate disputes, estate litigation, and business owner disputes. His work spans the full life cycle of construction projects, from financing and site acquisition through arbitration, trial, and appeal.
Mr. Marron earned his J.D. with honors from Drake University Law School and his B.A. from Pacific Lutheran University, where he studied legal studies, philosophy, and political science. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Oregon and Idaho.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Marron has been active in bar associations, professional presentations, and legal publishing. He has written and presented on construction law, risk management, dispute resolution, and litigation topics. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking, bicycling, motorcycling, hunting, fishing, shooting and working on his home.
